Staff at Springhill
- Professionally trained staff are on duty 24 hours, 7 days a week.
- Opportunities exist for Care Assistants to be trained through SVQ levels II and III; Carers assist the Nursing Staff on a 24 hour basis.
- Community Podiatrists attend Springhill Home as and when required. If residents choose to use the service of their own Podiatrist, the cost of the consultation will be met by the resident.
- Healthcall Optician visits the Home when required. If residents choose to use the service of their own Optician, enquiries will be made to find out if this would be possible. The cost of the consultation and any eyewear required will be met by the resident.
- access to Dental services will be made available as required.
- Nutritionalists, Speech Therapists and Physiotherapists are all accessed through the residents GP.
- The use of residents' own GP is continued in the Home as long as they are willing to hold consultations at the Home.
Staff Aim
The main staff aim at Springhill Nursing Home is to make each
resident as comfortable as possible.
Residents care is planned on an individual basis and involves a
high level of personal attention by our fully trained, professional
staff.
